Prophylaxis and prevention

Prophylaxis of caries and gum diseases is based on the annual systematic check-ups at the dentist.

During these visits the dentist or the hygienist, controls the dental and gingival heailth , and eventually realizes x-rays to detect hidden problems in areas inaccessible to the visual inspection.
