Periodontal surgery
This is gum surgery following the periodontitis wich is an infectious disease affecting the supporting tissues of the tooth and causing bone loss and loosening of the teeth.
Periodontal disease is the leading cause of tooth loss in adults.
It evolves from its early phase by stages, where the damage of the supporting tissues of the tooth progresses gradually and leads to tooth mobility in a more advanced stage.
It can still be treated before its final phase, with surgical and regenerative techniques, followed by maintenance sessions and hygiene control.
